My favorite albums
This is a small sample of the historic albums I love the most. They include
contemporary releases ( such as Adriano Giffoni's) and some "oldies".
Most of my hard-to-find records were bought in the early sixties in Rio
(then a fair dinkum "Cidade Maravilhosa" - Wonderful
City ) and include gems like Elis & Jair's "Dois
na Bossa" series . I remember listening to the fantastic rhythms
on my modest sound system, dreaming about owing a drum kit, about playing
with those fabulous musicians, unaware of my extreme luck for being born
and raised in such wealthy culture. I really love these old albums !! Thankfully,
most of them have now been reissued on CD format. I have created this page
