Dear Carlos,
Having spent much time organising our LaTrobe University Business Students’ Association Ball 2006 , I was terrified that the members of our club would not share my enthusiasm for a Samba performance . To be honest, I had received some criticism for booking a Samba band to play on the night.
A good eleven-and-a-half seconds after the dance lesson began, and my fear washed away with the hundreds of Accounting, Finance, Economics and Management students that decided to get up and participate. I must congratulate you and your colleagues for your ability to work a crowd, and convince those who would not normally dance to join in and wiggle about.
The music was sublime, the dancers even better, and the lesson a great way for everyone (even those like me who look like camels when they dance) to get involved. I really appreciate your being so flexible with our organisation as well, as I know we can be hard to deal with.
I look forward to book MelSamba for another event in the future.
